Intelligent Haptronic Solutions at SFU SystemsFair 2019
February 8, 2019
This year’s Simon Fraser University (SFU) SystemsFair, hosted by the Mechatronic Systems Engineering Student Society and Software Systems Student Society, was held on February 8th at the university’s Surrey campus. An emerging technology hub, the SFU campus is home to more than 800 students working towards degrees in Mechatronic Systems Engineering and Software Systems. The career and networking event offered an intimate venue to mingle with prospective engineers and recent graduates of diverse backgrounds, and to attract talent.
With close alumni ties to SFU—Zhouming Tang, CEO and CTO, completed his Masters of Applied Sciences at the institution—this event rings close to home. Recognizing the capability and knowledge base in this talent pool, our company attended the SFU SystemsFair 2019 to connect with mechatronics engineers, software developers, and other individuals interested in pursuing co-op and full-time opportunities in medical robotics. As a fast-paced startup with research and development efforts in haptics technology, virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI), the team presented the mission and vision of the company, shared features of our first digestive endoscopy simulator product, and engaged with interested attendees at our booth.Interested in working with industry professionals and engineers in the medical robotics space?
