Responsibilities and Duties
Our Vancouver team is a small and tight-knit operation where your creativity can flourish and make a great impact. We want you to help us cultivate our social media presence and as a secondary role to provide provide general administrative assistance. Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Manage, populate, curate, and maintain content for our website and other social media platforms.
- Research and create content for specific projects, including press releases, newsletters, publications, etc.
- Develop and maintain a social media calendar, effectively engaging with the online community.
- Media monitoring, keep informed on relevant client industry news.
- Track the effectiveness of social media campaigns through analytic tools and metrics.
- Provide general support for client brand campaigns, events, and other public relations projects.
HR Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist with all internal and external HR related work (ie. interview, onboarding, performance evaluation, company policies etc.).
- Provide assistance in various types of company documentation (i.e. government funding applications, corporate admin/tax documents etc.).
- Daily office admin work (i.e. send/receive package, purchase office/lab supplies, spending spreadsheet etc.).
- Plan and organize company staff events.
- Be the first point of contact for office visitors and offsite employees.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in human resources, digital arts, marketing or communications.
- Fully understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Proficient in speaking and writing in English and Chinese.
- Familiar with web design platforms and languages (Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, HTML, CSS etc.).
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar social media/content management/digital role.
- Strong writing and verbal communications skills with proofreading and copy editing abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and juggle multiple clients and projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, and a strong aptitude for creativity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
