From May 22 to 25, 2024, the Venetian Macao Cotai Expo Center was the epicenter of global technological innovation. The three-day BEYOND EXPO 2024 wrapped up successfully. Themed “Embracing the Uncertainties,” the event was organized by the Macao Science Association and received strong support from the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other governmental bodies. It emerged as a highly influential commercial and international tech exchange platform in Asia. This expo spotlighted three key sectors: consumer tech, healthcare, and climate tech, attracting over a thousand technology companies, investment institutions, celebrities from various sectors, and showcasing cutting-edge technological achievements and high-level forums from more than 120 countries and regions.
As a member of the NVIDIA Inception Program, IHS was proud to be featured in the Inception Pavilion at BEYOND EXPO 2024 in Macao, where we showcased our advanced AI-driven haptic virtual simulation and multimodal human-computer interaction (HCI) solutions, particularly applied in medical simulation training.
IHS offers cutting-edge solutions in haptic virtual simulation and multimodal HCI. As a company with proprietary R&D capabilities in multimodal HCI terminals, we connect the real and virtual worlds through AI, haptics, and XR technologies. Skillfully utilizing NVIDIA Clara, NVIDIA FleX, and NVIDIA RTX GPUs, we deeply integrate touch and vision to present a virtually-real integrated, multimodal, bidirectional HCI, pushing the boundaries of multimodal HCI to new heights.
At this conference, IHS showcased the EndoGITrain GI Lite Device, a key product of our core technology applied to medical simulation training. This product demonstrates our innovative haptic virtual simulation and multimodal HCI solutions within the medical field.
The EndoGITrain Simulator leverages operation data from several renowned doctors and extensive anonymized medical data to create an AI-driven expert teaching system. It provides real-time guidance and intelligent scoring, meeting the surgical teaching and training needs of gastroenterology and respiratory internal medicine departments. This system offers hospitals and universities systematic, quantifiable, and diverse virtual simulation surgical training.
IHS offers ultra-realistic visual-tactile simulations designed to transform traditional apprenticeship models by significantly enhancing efficiency and quality, and shortening the training period for specialist doctors. This approach addresses the critical shortage of qualified doctors, which contributes to low early cancer detection rates, while potentially increasing revenue for hospitals and doctors.
During the expo, the IHS booth drew considerable attention from numerous guests and technology enthusiasts. Visitors were eager to explore and experience the allure of haptic interaction technology, universally impressed by its cutting-edge nature and the realistic quality of the visual-tactile interaction.
Although BEYOND EXPO 2024 has come to a close, the journey of technological innovation continues. We look forward to presenting our advancements on more platforms of technological innovation, contributing to a brighter future for humanity.
